Robert Caskey
1747-1800
Robert Caskey was my 6th Great Grandfather. From the research that I can document, it appears that he served in the Revolutionary War. He died in 1800, so he was unable to apply for a pension, and therefore, there are no pension files under his name. However, a search of Fold3.com did reveal a few documents that attest to his service. In addition, his headstone in New Jersey also commemorates his service during the Revolutionary War.
He enlisted on January 29, 1776 as a Private in the Sixth Pennsylvania Battalion. In addition, it appears that he served in the Artillery Battalion for the City of Philadelphia in the First Company under Capt. John McCulloch.
In this album, I will include the few images that I have currently have that document his service, and I will seek to add more as I can find them.
