Susan Z. Guthrie, 73, Route 1, Town of Scott, was dead on arrival at Holy Cross Hospital on Monday April 1, 1974.
She was born Susan Koneicny on August 5, 1900 in Chicago the daughter of Mr and Mrs Andrew Koneicny. She was a member of the Lincoln Barracks Auxilary.
Mrs Gutherie is survived by a daughter Mrs Mildred Bauer of Merrill, a son C. Leon Smigal, Baltimore, Maryland; two sisters Mrs Mary White of Tomahawk and Mrs Rose Konway of Hayward. Five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 PM on Thursday April 4, 1974 at the Schram-Buettner Funeral Home in Merrill. The Rev. John Eldred of Christ United Methodist Church officiated and burial was at Merrill Memorial Park.
