Father of Stanley, Mae, Otto, Ivan and Velma. Farmer and blacksnith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing cards and visiting with family and friends. CHARLES BLECHA Charles Blecha was born in Richardson County, near Humboldt, Nebraska, on January 1, 1885 and died at his home 4 1/2 miles northeast of DuBois, at the age of 46 years and 10 days. In 1908 he married Miss Mary Sher and the young couple started their married life on the old Blecha place near Humboldt. To this union were born five children, Stanley, Otto, Ivan, Mae and Velma. Besides his wife and children he is survived by seven brothers, Mike, Benkelman; Frank, Tate; Joseph and Edward, Humboldt; Albert, Pawnee City; Anton, Table Rock; and two sisters, Anna Carpenter, Humboldt and Mary Hubka, Munden, Kans, and a large number of other relatives amd friends. He was a member of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge. Funeral services were conducted at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with F.G. Dobrovolny in charge. Interment was made in the Bohemian National cemetery.
