ELIZABETH BLECHA
Mrs. Elizabeth Blecha, known as "Libby" daughter of Anna and Joseph Bazant was born at Kenosha, Wisc., on October 21, 1880, and departed this life at her home in Narka,
Kan., on December 19, 1964 at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 28 days.
When she was seven or eight years of age she came with her parents and settled on a farm near Narka, where she received her education and grew to womanhood; her entire life was spent in this community.
On September 30, 1902 she was united in marriage to Joseph F. Blecha, and to this union one daughter, Twila was born.
The family continued to live on the farm until the year 1919 when they moved to town, where Mr. Blecha operated the lumberyard.
She was a member of the Narka Presbyterian Church and also a member of the Eastern Star for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph Blecha, one sister Grace Bazant, one brother Joseph Bazant.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Mrs. Twila Newell, and her husband James of Littleton, Colo., three grandchildren, also one sister Stella Likins of Boulder, Colo, many nieces, and many friends.
Funeral Services were held in the Narka Presbyterian Church on December 22, with the Rev. John W. Frint officiating, burial was made in National Cemetery south of Narka, Kansas
