Notes |
- [For the longest time, because of the information listed below, I have believed that Frances was a daughter to Jan Blecha and Anna Hulkova, and a sister to Adolf and Frantisek Blecha. However, after reviewing the birth records in Plzen, I can find no evidence of her being born to this couple. I found the marriage record of Jan & Anna, and it was 1856. Therefore, Franziska could not be from this family.
March 2011: After reviewing the report and research from Jan Parez of Pathfinders in his Feb. 8, 2011 report, I now believe Frances is a sister to Jan Blecha and aunt to Adolf Blecha. This seems more consistent with the facts. I could still be wrong, but I firmly believe the statement in the 1880 census that claims Adolf is living with his in-laws is slightly mis-translated and I believe he is living with Frances, his aunt.
