Thelma F. Blecha Ogden - Our beloved mother and grandmother, Thelma Ford Blecha, died Wednesday, June 23, 1993 at a local care center of causes incident to age.
She was born June 29, 1901 in Farnam, Nebraska, a daughter of Henry and Flora Moyer Ford. She married Rudolph Blecha on July 12, 1921 in Salt Lake City. He died May 28, 1971. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She and her husband had owned and operated the Blecha Coffee Shop in Ogden. Mrs. Blecha had worked at the Bon Marche until her retirement. Surviving are one son and daughter, Rudolph (Betty) Blecha, Riverdale; Helen Jensen, South Odgen; six grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and one sister, Pete Ford, Odgen; Pat Hammerland Corrinne, Utach. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at the graveside Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery, with Kenneth Birch officiating. Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd, Saturday from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
