Rudolph Blecha's obituary reads:
Rudolph Blecha, 80, of 3644 Grant, lost his life Friday night when struck by a car in South Ogden. Mr. Blecha had resided in Ogden the past 50 years. He had operated the Blecha Coffee Shop from approximately 1940-1950. He had also worked for Guyon Coffee Shop, Ross and Jack's and the Hotel Ben Lomond as a baker. He was a member of the Presbyterian Churc. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars and the Baker's Union. Surviving are his widow, one son and one daughter, Rudolph F. Blecha, Mrs. Kenneth (Helen) Jensen, all of Ogden; six grandchildren and for great grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, Joseph Blecha, Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Blanche Holub, Mrs. Mary Halvis, both of Cicero, Ill. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Larkin Chapel of the Dawn, with the Rev. Donald R. Steiner of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until time of services. Internment will be in the Ogden City Cemetery.
