        BIOGRAPHY: Soon after James & Katerina's marriage, they set out for the West in an ox pulled wagon. In due time, they arrived near Jennings, KS. They had many hardships with drought and grasshoppers, and in their 3rd year they sold the homestead and came to Table Rock, NE.

        Father of twelve children: Frank F., Joseph, Anna, Bertha, Rudolph, Charles, Fred M., Marie 'Mary', Emma, John W., Louis Roy, and Benjamin F.
        Soon after their marriage James & Katerina set out for the west in an ox pulled covered wagon. They arrived near Jennings, Kansas where they homesteaded. After many hardships with drought and grasshoppers they sold their place and came to a farm east of Table Rock, NE where he spent the rest of his life. He died of stomach cancer at his home.

        OBITUARY- VACLAV BLECHA

        James Blecha, for half a century, a resident of this vicinity, died at his farm home, east of twon, on Sunday morning, from cancer of the stomach. He has been a sufferer from the disease for a long time and gradually grew worse until death came. He was a worthy citizen and a kind husband and father. He leaves a widow, six sons and two daughters to mourn his loss. Funeral services were held at the home on Thursday, conducted by F.A. Stack, burial being made in Dry Branch cemetery. To the sorrowing wife and children the Argus the sympathy of the community.
