        ANOTHER OLD SETTLER GONE
Albert Blecha Buried in Bohemian Cemetery Yesterday.
Last Sunday night at his home five miles southwest of this city occurred the death of Albert Blecha one of the oldest residents of Humboldt precinct. He was born in Bohemia March 27, 1842 and came to America about forty-five years ago, settling on the farm where he still lived at the time of his death, aged 76 years, 3 months and 17 days. He had been in failing health for a number of years and the end had been anticipated for some time.
He was an experienced blacksmith and for many years did the work for his neighbors in this line. He was the father of ten children, nine of whom, with their mother, survive him. They are: Mike, of Dundy county; Frank and Joe, of Pawnee county; Albert and Andy, who reside in South Dakota; Edward, in Oklahoma; Charles, who is still at home, Mrs. Anna Carpenter, of this city and Mrs. Mary Hubka, of Kansas.
Funeral services were held from the home yesterday afternoon in charge of the Bohemian lodge and conducted by Frank Dobrovolny, of DuBois, interment being made in the Bohemian cemetery near the home.
