        In 1910, Mary is listed as a seamstress in a coat shop.

        Joan White (Oct. 2010) relayed that Marie and Joseph Havlis were married by a justice of the peace. She said that Marie mader her own wedding dress. It is unknown why they were not married in the church.

        Marie was naturalized when her husband was. Joseph filed the application for naturalization on Aug. 30, 1920, #35599. There was always a waiting period, however, it was finalized Feb. 2, 1922; #1478296.

        In 1912, at the birth of their daughter Mildred, they were living at 2846 S. Harmon Ave., Chicago, Ill.
